These pictures will tell you that it was a perfectly sunny day outside today. Dave and I headed out with camera and picnic basket in hand for some trail walking and fresh clean air. We went to the small village of Margo (a former logging community). It's only a 20 minute drive from our home. Years ago when it was a logging community it was booming but now everything is vacant but still so beautiful.
You see, today we needed to take it a little slower than usual. My weekend did'nt start off too well. Yesterday afternoon on our way home from work we stopped at the vet's office for some meds for our beloved Tabi. Leaving the office I slipped on their very icy wooden ramp and fell on my elbow but it's my right shoulder that's bruised and VERY, VERY stiff. I could move fingers, elbow and arm so nothing's broken. And with beautiful weather like this, who would complain about a sore shoulder...
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

oh that's terrible!!! in this weather having a sore shoulder (in the cold) isn't fun at all!
I hope you spend tonight with a nice hot magic bag and take it easy until it heals (easy on the yoga too!).
Healing and Light sending to Par-en-haut! :)
Thanks Par-en-bas ;-) Shoulder seems to be slightly better tonight. No way that I could do yoga. Good time to just sit and meditate.
Sorry to hear about your fall , glad you didn't break anything. Nature has her way of telling us to slow down and enjoy the ride. The pics are wonderful , such a serene looking place , hope you enjoyed your picnic.
~ Be Blessed ~
The ice these last few days has been treacherous! I came close to falling at least 5 times! I hope your should starts feeling better soon! Maybe a nice warm soak combined with a little meditation would do it some good! :)
oh no Vickie. i hope your shoulder feels better soon.
Margo looks so beautiful in the winter.
I'm so sorry that you hurt your shoulder! I hope that it heals quickly. Also it's funny that you mention Margo - I just noticed the sign for the first time last week when I was driving by and wondered why I had never heard of it before - now that we know a bit more, we're intrigued and Adam wants to go and take pictures there. :)
Oh Sherrie, you guys would love visiting Margo. It is so quiet way back there. The road is beautiful so you won't have any problem getting there. Feel free to walk around. The only cabin that is inhabited yearly is off from the others.
Thanks, Vickie! We'll definitely make the trek. :)
I can't believe all of your beautiful snow ~ we are getting rain, very brown and not nearly as pretty as there.
Sorry about your shoulder, hope it feels better soon. Love Barb xo
Margo! Such a beautiful little place in any weather. Great photos!
