Acorns

The day ended up so nice and sunny. We did chores around the house outside and than we decided to go for a drive to the same spot that we went last year at this same date to pick acorns.

Wishing everyone a good start of the week tomorrow.

very fun acorns! we were down in Argyle for the weekend, stayed friday night in Quinan- it was so beautiful to breathe the fresh clean air and see the beautiful stars.

sigh- need to get out of the city more often :)
What will you be doing now that Carrie is done teaching yoga?

Hi Eco Yogini. Just finished reading your post about your poster. What a neat idea you had. Excellent. I am sooooo going to miss Kerry. I loved going to ''the Barn''. The setting was perfect for my hippie/yogini self. Her last class is in January (2nd I think) to say good-bye. She's up north now til the beginning of December to teach in schools.

It's beautiful in Quinan. Dave's band plays there about once a year and the patrons enjoy themselves so much, it's fun to watch.

Take care.

Hello my dear Colleen - acorns are so rare in our parts and yes, the squirrels got to our spot before we did also. But, on our way to the acorn location we stopped in at Frenchy's and we found a nice ceramic bowl handmade in Italy so we had that bowl full of acorns.
