Every woman needs a secret place to escape to... for me it's at Frenchy's.

Baking
Wish you could smell this field berry pie. It smells soooooooo much like Christmas.
I am off work today and tomorrow... so I thought I'd do some baking this morning. My grand-mother and my mother always made these cinnemony pinwheels with what ever was left of the pie dough and I do the same !
You know what we call them in these parts of the woods (in French)? Des pettes de soeurs (translated means nuns farts) don't ask me how this came about but it dates back years and years.
I have two grown children and grandmother to a little boy. I prefer a simple, low-maintenance lifestyle. I try to give more than I receive. I believe everything happens for a reason. Our home reflects who we are.
My mantra "Celebrate Life"
A chain of used clothing stores found throughout the atlantic provinces of Canada. Started by a man from my area, Mr. Edwin Theriault. You never know what you'll find, there's something for everyone, clothing for the whole family, major brand names, books, footwear, drapery, brick a bracks, etc. I love it so much, can't help myself from going - I'm addicted to Frenchy's.

oh, you are making me so hungry looking at the baked goods; especially the "bellybuttons", I LOVE those!
