Perfect cycling day

Seeing that the forecast was for a sunny day with a few cloudy periods Dave and I decided to go cycling and put the household chores on hold for the afternoon. We decided to go to Tusket. A small Acadian community in Yarmouth County (45 minutes from our house). We parked the car at a local convenient store and rode our bikes 5 km one way then the same distance coming back.
A much needed ice-cream break...

In the end, we found a nice shaded spot under a tree and had a picnic.

But.... before we left this morning I made a 'Pig' for my cuke plants.

And took a picture of the most beautiful dog in the whole wide world. What would we do without her...
