Mavillette Beach

We have a very beautiful beach about a 10 minute drive from our home - Mavillette Beach. Dave and I went for a walk as the sun was setting tonight. Last week I bought a polarizing lens for my camera. I wanted to show you the difference between pictures ::

First picture without the polarizing lens... but still a very nice view of the ocean.

... can you see the difference in the colors; especially the blue. I only turned about a foot to my left to take the second picture so it was pretty much the same sky, sand and water.

Suds on the beach.

Close-up of a small stone on the beach.

Beach worm tracks in the sand; again very close-up.

Hi Vickie ~ The polarizing lens did make a big difference , so much clearer.
The stone is beautiful but the worm sand print is a real work of art , loved your pics.

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments on the worm sand tracks. It would be a nice print to have in black and white.

Colleen - i miss you too; wish you were closer. You have thought me so much in the past years. Thank you for that.
