At the end of the day

Yesterday I read an article in a local newspaper The Yarmouth Vanguard, entitled "After the Crash". It chronicles a tragic car crash that occured in June 2004 in Yarmouth County that killed two teenagers, one of them the driver's bestfriend. The driver of the vehicle survived.

A quote from one of the teenager's father has been with me since yesterday and I would love to share it with you :

"Three years later, in our home we don't quibble over things like a dent in the fender or a power bill anymore. In the grand scheme of things, it's just not that important". He goes on saying "Life is not always what we want it to be, but at the end of the day we have to deal with what we have, as much as it hurts".

Happy Friday and make the most of your day... laugh, play, sing, dance, be silly. But most important - don't forget to smile !!!!!
